Meet the neighbours

This morning I took my camera out on my paddle board into the middle of the river.

It was a still sunny autumn morning.  Here are some photos of my neighbourhood.
Sea Scout hall beside the park.  A floating shark-net surrounds the swimming pool.
Close-up of the shark net.
The haunted house: every neighbourhood has one.  No one lives here.  This house is suspended over the river, and sometimes, on a dark night, you can see a candle at the window.

Can you see the large and healthy gum tree growing on the balcony of the house below?  It seems to have no visible contact with the ground yet it is way too big for a garden pot.  Go figure.

A garbage can lid draws a crowd, as it is filled with breakfast for the rainbow lorikeets.

Tsk.  Feet off the table, please.
On reflection...

This was wonderful Robin - brought back lots of memories especially with all that gold! A wonderful way of protecting those memories. Well done!
